The Pilates Method

Pilates is a repertoire of 500 different exercises described in the Pilates Method, performed either on a mat or on special equipment using springs for resistance. The core concept of Pilates is strengthening of the "Powerhouse" — the central muscle groups engirdling the abdomen, back, and pelvis. Using this non-impact system of exercise focusing on the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine, will allow muscles to lengthen and strengthen without bulking.

 

This form of exercising eliminates stress on your joints and is effective for all ages and fitness levels.

 

Through consistent practice, it helps to correct muscles imbalances and improve body alignment and stabilization.

 

Participants will be able to gain strength through a more balanced physique and  will also experience more efficiency in their daily movements.
