Postnatal Pilates and Pelvic Floor Recovery in Arlington, MA

After birth, most women in the United States are handed a six-week checkup and very little else — postnatal Pilates gives you a structured way back to strength, at whatever point you're starting from.

It's Never Too Late to Start

Six weeks postpartum, six months, or six years — the pelvic floor and deep core respond to this work regardless of how much time has passed. Many of the women I see come to me long after they were told they were "cleared."

What We Work On

Breath and deep core coordination first, then diastasis recti if it's present, pelvic floor strength and release, and the everyday loads that matter most — lifting a toddler, carrying a car seat, getting through a night of broken sleep. This draws on my Pilates training and a dedicated pelvic floor module in my yoga therapy certification.

Sessions at SPR Studio

Sessions are one-on-one, using mat work, props, and studio equipment, and paced entirely to where your body is. You leave with a short home practice that fits a day with a baby in it.

I also offer pelvic floor work beyond the postnatal period.
