Yoga Classes in Arlington, MA
My yoga classes are a mindful, flowing practice that links breath and movement — and yes, they're designed to challenge you. That challenge is intentional: when the body is fully engaged, the busy, overthinking mind quiets, and you arrive in the present moment. It's what makes the final rest, savasana, so deeply felt.
And don't worry if you're not flexible or experienced. The practice meets you exactly where you are. The challenge is always yours, adapted to your body — never a competition. With the props and my guidance, everyone finds their own edge, safely.
Props, in the Iyengar tradition
I use plenty of props: blocks, bolsters, blankets, belts, the wall, and a yoga chair. These aren't there to make the work easier — they're there so that every student, whatever their level, can find the true essence of each posture.

Every prop you need.
Ziggy not included — unless class is on the deck and you ask nicely.
Attentive, hands-on teaching
I give close attention to alignment, with precise cues and hands-on adjustments, always with your consent. Groups stay small — never more than ten — so no one is left behind. Whatever your age or experience, you're welcome here.
My training
I am a 500-hour trained yoga teacher, certified through Down Under Yoga in Boston, with a 300-hour mentorship under Natasha Rizopoulos. I have since studied restorative yoga and experiential anatomy with Judith Hanson Lasater, and Iyengar Yoga in Patricia Walden's masterclasses until her retirement in June 2026. I now practise weekly with Donna Gross Javel — I remain a student myself.
